Family Educational Mentors work one-on-one with family members of youth to help them become successful in the educational setting. Services are family driven and are natural, community based educational supports that are built to enhance success beyond the Dawn enrollment.
Behavioral plans are individualized, strength based and implemented to improve educational/social functioning and/or assist transition to a less restrictive educational setting. These plans include intake assessment, case management needs and inclusive for situations from class functioning to school suspensions.
These mentors work with care coordinators, parents, teachers, principals, and special education liaisons to achieve desired outcomes.
