Choices has been invited by the Indiana Department of Child Services to administer an intensive short-term intervention, aiming to move 300 youth out of restrictive residential environments and stabilize them in family and community-based settings. Youth and families will be served through a six month long process which connects them with opportunities to develop and access community-based supports and develop skills that will help prevent future involvement in the child welfare system. Choices will begin serving the first 150 of 300 youth in early September, 2010.
