Montgomery County - Child and Family Teams in IFPS

Child and family team meetings are an integral part of the wraparound process. With the aid of a care coordinator, each family develops a team that will best support them. This team can include other family members, friends and neighbors, specialists like therapists and child welfare workers, and representatives from the agency making the referral to IFPS. This team works with the caregiver and youth to assure the crisis plan is followed, strengths are developed, identified needs are met, and natural, community-based supports are found to help them become successful.
