About the MCSA

The MCSA (Multi County System Agencies) is a unique collaboration between Hamilton County's four major child-serving agencies:

• Department of Job and Family Services
• Juvenile Court
• Mental Health and Recovery Services Board
• Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities

These agencies work together to oversee the care management process provided by Hamilton Choices. They seek to provide a system of care for youth involved in two or more of these systems, served by Hamilton Choices. This partnership helps keep youth out of expensive out-of-home placements and is made possible by pooled funding facilitated by the MCSA.
